Seminar May 28, arranged in collaboration between Gothia Forum and MedTech West

During this seminar Björn Lindgren, Director of the Centre for Health Economics, will present health economics related to the adoption of technical appliances in health care. He will address the Swedish government’s assignment to the Dental and Pharmaceutical
Benefits Agency, TLV, to implement economic evaluation of technical appliance products as well as the model used by TLV for economic evaluations. In addition, he will present the mission and organization of CHEGU, the Centre for Health Economics at the University of Gothenburg.

Björn Lindgren is guest teacher at the University of Gothenburg, PhD, Professor emeritus
in Health Economics at Lund University and Research Associate at the
National Bureau of Economic Research (NBER) in Cambridge MA.
