We would like to celebrate the completion of the pilot study by holding a seminar (In English)  for everyone interested in SCAPIS (Swedish CArdioPulmonary bioImage Study). The pilot study in Gothenburg included 1000 randomly selected residents.

SCAPIS in large scale will be one of the largest and
most detailed studies of cardiac,vascular and pulmonary diseases. It is designed to identify the characteristics of 30 000 individuals (phenotypes) aged 50-65 years. The result is a data, image and biobank with detailed information.

The pilot study was conducted by Sahlgrenska University Hospital and Gothenburg University in collaboration with the Heart Lung Foundation. Gothia Forum has been responsible for project management.
