National information meetings on Horizon 2020

Are you a researcher and would like to know more about the opportunities in the more research intensive bottom-up parts of Horizon 2020? The new European Framework programme is the world’s largest research and innovation programme with a total budget of close to 80 billion euro during the period 2014-2020.

Horizon 2020 consists of three key areas: Excellent science, Industrial leadership and Societal challenges. During the information meetings there will be an overview of Horizon 2020, followed by detailed information about the Excellent Science programmes: European Research Council, Marie Sklodowska-Curie actions, Future and Emerging Technologies and Research Infrastructures.

The information meetings are especially relevant for researchers at universities and research institutes, who intend to go more in depth into the Horizon 2020 area, “Excellent Science”. This part of Horizon 2020 aims at raising the level of excellence in Europe's science and technology base and ensuring a steady stream of world-class research to secure Europe's long-term competitiveness.
