The new European Framework programme is the world’s largest research and innovation programme with a total budget of close to 80 billion euro during the period 2014-2020.

This part of Horizon 2020 aims at raising the level of excellence in Europe's science and technology base and ensuring a steady stream of world-class research to secure Europe's long-term competitiveness.
