Now it is time to apply for BIO-X. This nationwide call for BIO-X project proposals focus on ICT-healthcare solutions to improve personalized treatment and care.

Proposals should be for a novel, ICT-based solution that can give direct benefit to the individual receiving treatment or care. For example:

• by increasing cure rates or survival times, reducing risk of side-effects, or minimizing discomfort
• by empowering individuals to participate in management of their own health through self-generated data
• by supporting medical providers or caregivers in making correct decisions for treatment, care, and/or medication tailored to the individual

Proposals are welcomed from applicants affiliated with a Swedish university or college, a research or healthcare organisation or an SME. Call closes August 26th 2014, 17.00 CET.
